Collective Resilience & Readiness: Individual Support Groups

You Were Never Meant to Navigate This Journey Alone

The experience of chronic illness and medical trauma is often profoundly isolating. You may feel like the only person in your circle who understands the "Spoonie" life, the anxiety of a flare, or the grief of an interrupted career.

Chronic Illness Support Groups | Collective Resilience

The Power of the Collective

Unlike a traditional "venting" group, our Collective Resilience sessions are structured and proactive. We use Process-Based Therapy (PBT) to help members move through the psychological barriers of illness together.

  • Shared Validation: Breaking the cycle of isolation by connecting with others who “just get it” without explanation.
  • Skill-Building Communities: Practicing mindfulness, pacing, and boundary-setting in a safe, social container.
  • Identity Beyond Illness: Exploring who you are outside of your medical labels through the mirror of a supportive peer group.
  • Readiness for Transition: Preparing for life’s shifts—whether that is returning to work, navigating a new treatment, or managing relationship changes.

How Our Groups Work

We keep our groups small and intentional to ensure every voice is heard and every "spoon" (energy level) is respected.

Feature The Experience
Format 90-minute weekly sessions (Online across California).
Size Limited to 6–8 individuals to maintain intimacy and safety.
Focus A blend of peer support and evidence-based resilience training.
Accessibility “Come as you are”—video off, reclining, or resting is always okay.

A Support Environment That Respects Your Energy

We know that joining a group takes energy. That is why our groups are designed with chronic illness in mind. We prioritize a "Relational" atmosphere over a "Clinical" one. There is no pressure to "perform" wellness; we meet you in the reality of your current health status.

Finding Your “New Normal” Together

  • Quarterly Cohorts: Groups run in 8-week cycles to allow for deep connection.
  • Specialized Topics: Groups often focus on specific themes like Career & Chronic Illness or Medical Trauma Recovery.
  • Safe & Secure: All groups are held on a HIPAA-compliant, secure platform to protect your privacy.
